I know there is a general consensus on Bilsteins for the suspension. Is there a similar consensus for exhaust? I have a stock 1972 1.7 FI. Now I have a monza four tip exhaust of unknown quality (it seems too loud) with three of the four chrome tips cut off (from PO). I am pre-smog and use the car as a weekend driver (and hopefully an autoX or two per year).

8.2/1 CR is not THAT high. It's like jd74914 was saying, as long as you keep the boost down, it's not that critical. I will only be looking for 8-10psi boost. The other thing is that I will be running Mega Squirt. The brain will take an input from a knock sensor...MUHAHAHAHA (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/burnout.gif) |
