I have on of those black plastic covers for the battery.
 How are they held on? I am told by a rubber band? Seem a bit odd. |

Porsche/Audi were handing out VW bus battery covers in that later recall. looks like this one is either a C same as they handed out for 914s or its a G variant. a bit later. photo not quite legible.   |
