Here we go again. Aftermarket molding clip doesn't work. Why sell this shit. See attached picture. The one on the right is original and the one on the left is after market.

we had ours made with the stud a bit longer to accommodate for body filler better too long than too short. Maybe though the one you got had an odd stud welded to it, happens. I doubt that we investing so much in tooling and quantities would make it with a stud too short
