Going to try and clean up these CV joints on my car, but couldn't remove them. Banged on them for a bit, watched a couple of videos (where the people in them just slid them off), and still cant remove my CV joints from the trailing arms.

I found this older thread (http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...50813&st=0)

But the washer is attached to the side and I was wondering what I should do
Thanks!

Hydraulic press.

Long before I had a press of my own, I would take parts to the local garage / machine shop. They would do it for just a couple bucks, sometimes free if it was super quick for them and/or maybe I looked sufficiently frazzled.
