I'm installing 911 emergency brakes on my 914 trailing arms.
What is the best rear caliper to go with ? Must be compatible (piston size) with S alloy fronts and 19mm master. Must have supply and bleeder in correct orientation and vented 911 rotor compatible. Is there a suitable alloy caliper available ? Help / suggestion is appreciated. Rory |

Rory In the process of doing the exact same thing. PMB restored S calipers up front, but do not have a solution for alloy rear calipers. But, that doesn't really matter because the rotors from the 911 are heavier anyway. In other words, any weight you would save with rear alloy calipers, you would lose with the heavier rotors. So, if you're looking to save weight, keep the 914 brakes. |
