I made one from some cork gasket material. Pretty straightforward and if you mess up, it's only a sheet of cork (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I made one from some cork gasket material. Pretty straightforward and if you mess up, it's only a sheet of cork (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) But unless I misunderstand the post, I think the spring inside his cap is broken, necessitating a new (used) cap? |

Someone did mention this. I could not see a spring in my cap is it under the cork gasket? Don’t worry about seeing the spring. What important is that the flat area where the gasket sits moves back and forth with spring pressure on it to force the gasket into contact with the filler inlet ![]() |
