Hi
Does anyone have a picture or item list for the original tool kit. Mine is a 74 3 L, not that I would suspect any difference for a four. Thanks John |

My car was purchased by the original owner in October '72 and purportedly one of tne of the first 2.0 cars on the east coast. First seen by me in the late 70's at autocross events. The owner was the guy to beat. (Z car guys didn't like when he showed up.) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)
The tools in the kit are per the owners manual and previous posts. I texted the original owner yesterday telling that I had found the tool kit. He stated he must have done a pretty good job of disguising it since it was still with the car. (HE DID) There were 2 short term owners between he and I. This is NO 911 tool kit! I am grateful as 911 kits are quite valuable in original condition. I think my '72 Super Beetle had a more tools than the 914. |
