Hello fellow 914club members, I was wondering if anyone knew where this 914-6 turbo was. It appeared in VW&Porsche mag in 1981, and if anyone has any more photos of this car.

when last i saw that car (or one that looked a LOT like it, in red) it was owned - or at least shown - by San Diego Porsche dealer Alan Jonson.
John Bond, Jr was well known in San Diego PCA while i was there; interesting character. owned an ex-IROC RSR when it was too new to be thought of as rare (we figured Penske would be racing RSR's in the IROC forever...) John Bond, Senior published Road & Track for quite a while; there was some money in the family... anyway - i last saw the car in 1976 or so, when the factory Turbo Carrera was still new and there were no turbo 914,6's. |
