It's funny what divides the 914 group. Mirrors seem to be one of those things. I bet one of my cars has a handful of things that certain groups don't like. I am not saying the tornado mirrors are the best thing but I never liked the look of the stock mirrors. I have never changed any mirrors, still have what they both came with, not stock.

We stopped there coming back from Okteenerfest and saw the 914. The staff guy listened to me expound on all the non stock items on that car. The mirrors were one of those items. Then I turned around, and looked at a custom car on the other side of the row and three spaces down. I told the proctor "That's a factory 914 outside mirror on this car." He jokingly looked at me and said "Shhhhh...don't tell anybody." |
