Watched an old race on YouTube last nite. Riverside ‘84
Never saw this 914 before, if I have I’ve forgotten. Finished 17th. Excellent seeing the 962 of Holbert on its debut. If not for a mix up on last pit, would have finished 1st. Anyway, the 914 was piloted by a fellow “Topper” Chasse. You west coast guys prolly knew him. From what I’ve read he had a few championships under his belt. The IMSA body kits were always interesting to cheat the wind. Screenshot of car and one i found on net. Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() ![]() |

@9146GUY I think us guys in POC of yesteryear referred to that fiberglass brand as Hoseman , due to their brand constantly bubbling, delaminating, cracking from normal sunlight. Mfg. Hausmann would never work with us on exchange, repair, credit towards another decklid>> i.e. got hosed'. My black 2.7 six/ turbo at RIR in its narrow-body days; with a Hoseman front lid. We found A.I.R., Fiberglass Trends, and Mitcom brands to be 100% high QC.
