Trunk Lock Backup Camera
Has it been done? People use solenoids to control the lock so why not utilize the hole for a camera? Just a thought. Dyno |

Wow, no shortage of vitriol. He just asked if it had been done...
I love all my backup cameras. I have only been into 914s since about 1990, but I have never seen one mounted in the trunk latch. Seems like a neat idea though. Don't let the others talk you out of it. Latches are not that rare. I think the hard part would be mounting the screen without making it look out of place. Like others have suggested maybe the mirror is the best option. Good luck |
