Does anyone have pics of this part installed on the car, above and below? I am missing most of the 911 style accel cable parts for my 3.2 and want to see if this means not having to buy them. Like the $100 coat hanger, etc.

Different PMS cable but similar issue. When using the 3.6 PMS cable with a 914, the throttle cable is also about 1.5” too long. PMS recommendation was to extend the outer shielding at the firewall with their spacer. I accomplished the same thing with Home Depot crap. Check out my thread. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...69082&st=80 The reason the PMS 3.6 cable is to long in a 914 is because you have to cut the intake pipes and rotate the throttle body to clear the trunk. Not a problem in a 911. Do you have a photo itself of what it looks like? Curious to see, but glad I'm to hear there's some options. I have made everything shorter to try and compensate and still too long (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |
