Does anyone have pics of this part installed on the car, above and below? I am missing most of the 911 style accel cable parts for my 3.2 and want to see if this means not having to buy them. Like the $100 coat hanger, etc.

I gave the above a shot, but something seems funky with the set up, it seems to get caught or has a lot of resistance when pushing the pedal, so much so it bends my pivot arm on the pedal cluster. Removing the brass stuff brings it back to a smooth clean action, but just too long. Back to the drawing board. Theres got to be a better fix than something like this... Weird they sell the cable too long considering the price and I'm sure others have had this issue hence the thread.
Any other suggestions aside from cutting the threaded ends to get the length down? |
