Going to look at this 1973 914/2.0 next week.
Looking at this picture I am wondering if there is a problem with the suspension. Is the front cranked up and the rear drooping/collapsed? ![]() |

Either new springs or too much beer in the trunk. 100 lb springs will work.

Either new springs or too much beer in the trunk. 100 lb springs will work. Beer goes up front.. you are closer to the truth than you think. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) all vws of that era were set up nose high (though not quite to the levels of the yellow example discusssed here). super bugs. 411/412s, type 3s,.........and 914s. vw policy. to take a loaded front trunk basically. it could be the usa headlight height story but i susoect thats a myth. all the vws stock were like that here in australia too. nose high. slightly. when unloaded. a thought. but there is definitely something not right about the yellow one. way off on the nose up attitude. |
