Here are a couple of photos from one of the 914's that team Brumos races.

My guess is this 914 started life as a 4 or the one bolt 914-6 mount (even beefed up) didn't hold up? If you think about it, people are putting 300hp V8's and the stock 4 mounts are holding up fine. Never heard of one seperating from the body of the car. But I have heard if you don't beef up a stock 914-6 mount, they can bend and pull away from the body of the car.
