Here are a couple of photos from one of the 914's that team Brumos races.
I think it's a Hewland trans. It must be expensive???
I like the pedals and I guess if you run this system you will need a hydraulic clutch.

I think I can answer some of the questions about this car. Bob Snodgras (owner of Brumos) and I grew up in the same town, both now live in Florida, still talk occasionally and I have sat in this car during a visit to Bob's museum.
The car has a Hewland BUT it is NOT sequential. Bob seems to enjoy the rumors that fly around his cars and somehow become urban legend.
The floor has been extended downward to accomodate Bob's size ( he is quite an imposing guy)
This is not an original car, but one of a series of replica cars made by Brumos. The serial numbers have been changed to something like B914-6GTR01 etc. the R being replica.
