So the pop up headlight and motors weigh in at 30lbs. The sheetmetal removal would be at least 20lbs...so 50lb weight reduction is there

Most people are not going to delete their headlight buckets and I dare say, they might provide some structural support to the front of the car. The Porsche GT manual headlight system, with its cable system, saves 8lbs from the car. Attached thumbnail(s)
