all,
my turn signal does not reset by itself. After digging around, i think mine is broken. here is a pic of mine: with a little bit of the search engine i found this post. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=346481 the column in question has a big spring on it that looks like the King Ranch emblem. I have a 1973 and i have been able to find some newish switches on Ebay and even some new ones from Sierra Madre: https://sierramadrecollection.com/products/...ASABEgLhffD_BwE but from the thread listed above, the one from SMC might not be the correct part. does anyone have a good source for the part? Also, im seeing parts that have a #5 or #6 appended to the part number 91461391315 which seems to be the part number but with different versions. Can anyone help with the part number i should be looking for? And if i can use a 75-76 as this seems to be the latest part available? And last but not least! is there a how-to on pulling out the steering column front part where all the turn and wiper controls are? im guessing i just need to pull the front part out and not the whole column. i think there is a bearing in there that could probably be replaced as well. I know this is alot, but any help is greatly appreciated. Steve Kennemer Wimberley TX |
