This guys is flying
Very nice footwork too (hee/toe double clutch downshifts) If a 914 could only shift like that (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Nice whine from the gearbox too http://gscdownloads.com/leh/sebring/GT3RSatSebring.wmv |

as for somebody say if a 914 could shift like that, i dont think the shifting had anything to do with it a 914 does not even have a throttle response good enough if the car should shift that well.
and for the nood question, double clutching is letting the clutch out during shifts when the car is in nuetral to use the engine to match gear rpms, but to do this well you need to be able to heel toe it which is using your foot to hit the brakes and gas at the same time, in a very controlled manor to bring the rpms up the the point where the gears are moving at the same speed. this has very little wear on syncros and helps prevent spins when the rear wheels suddenly try to turn at a faster or slower speed as well as slowing the car with the brakes |
