I'm scared now. Britt intends to buy my 1.7 if'n he can't fix a simple distributor problem howz he going to keep a different engine running?
Britt another missing problem I have dicovered with my current enf=gine was crappy plug wires. Solid core that are screwed into the phenolic adapter at the plug end. I was getting arcing and then burning out of the connection and then a miss developed. I made up a new set with regular American connectors and put tin seals on the boots. Fit snug and never had no more problems. |
