i cant seem to get the shifter bar to come loose. I removed the screw(where the arrow is) and i lightly tapped it with a mallet but i wont break loose. What should i do?

Get someone to sit in the passenger compartment. Have them put the shifter in 2/4 gear, and hold it.
Sometimes all you need is to keep pressure on the shift rod in the opposite direciton. Then take a mallet and tap the fitting loose. -Rusty (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smoke.gif) |
