hello, i am coming up with a new product. simply it is a bolted or welded in bracket with a retaining loop for the inner axle for if the inner cv joint fails. if you have ever seen the effects of an inner cv joint failing at any speed over 5 mph, you know the damage it can do. these retainers wont stop cv damage but they will stop the cv from hitting the starter or reverse wiring on the drivers side as well as the trunk floor on both sides.
they will be custom made for your installation, to accout for ride height and tranny placement. i just need the measurement from axle top to trunk floor at you normal ride hieght, ie not measured with the car jacked up. cost is $ 75 US shipped, all orders will ship with in 1 week pics later this week admins i will post this in the products section as well |

no its more like a cage to stop the cv joint from trashing everything under the trunk and the trunk. i have seen pics of what a cv will do when it lets loose at 40 mph. i dont think you could do that much damage with a 3 pound sledge and 1/2 hour of time. |
