Is there a problem with welding in the caps over the big holes on the floor pan. I took them off when I was cleaning out the floor tar and I dont see any use in sealing them up like the factory did. Is ther ever a use to having access to these holes or is it ok to weld them down?

They're a great way to covertly dispose of contraband if you ever pulled over in a compromising situation.
Good for draining rainwater from our oh so waterproof interiors. Just a couple of reasons not to - there's probably a million others. Apparently they were only used for the manufacturing process and they have no other useful function now. Go ahead, weld 'em up. |
