Hi everyone,
I make the 911R parts for the 911 guys, AR Concepts. I was asked by a few people now to make 911R style tail lights for the 914. It's a lot of work to get the first set out so I'm asking before I start. What do you guys think? Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Mike Swanson http://members.cardomain.com/911r_parts |

No I'm not an Rgruppe member. I actually don't even own one. I used to work with Freeman Thomas and he asked if I could make R light that actually fit the car. Thats how I got mixed up in all this Porsche stuff.
Carbon Fiber is a real pain to layup in shapes like that. It wouldn't be worth it, unless people wanted to pay a few hundred bucks just for the plates. To do it I would have to use prepreg and autoclave it to get it in the corners. Headlights wouldn't be bad, but small projector assemblies aren't that cheap. |
