Just my $00.02 worth. We love Vegas! Too distracting for this kind of thing though. Also too spread out, and way too f***ing hot. The PNW is great, especially July, August, September, October. PIR is a cool track.
Craig's idea of piggy backing onto the vintage race is a good one. We are also hosting the Porsche Parade next year, maybe dovetail with that? Portland is compact, easy to get to, great roads to drive on: either to the beach or to Mt. Hood. There are enough of us here to organize things up. Pamela and I would even consider an evening BBQ at our place (we have a house designed for partying on the river). Plenty of good hotels/motels....Double Tree dominates and is closest to the track. PDX gets my vote |
