Was looking at a picture of the gas tanks and how they are different depending on the year, mine is a 74 not a 74 1/2, so mine should have a charcoal cannister but doesn't, is it a big deal? The small hose between the 2 fuel lines probably goes in the cannister, if no cannister what do you do with it?

Not to hijack this thread but did the 914-6 have them?

There wasn't one on my car when I disassembled it but the fuel tank has the mounting tab. (I've seen other 6ers with them on the gas tank) Also, I only had 2 fuel lines running through the tunnel and none running along the driver's side rocker. What to I connect the canister up to?
