I have a set of early Koni struts that use the bolt/pin style of ball joints. I have a near-new set of ball joints off another 911, but I don't know if they're the wedge or bold type. Can someone please post photos of each so I can see the difference?
Thanks in advance for your help! |

i know i just saw a photograph of the two ball joints side by side - definitely within the last month - a search should turn it up.
but it's not really hard. the pinchbolt ball joint has a definite semicircular scallop cut. the wedgebolt ball joint has a definite V-notch. |
