Need just a slight mod to make it fit perfect...

Joe, It's from a 2000 S4. I priced other displays with lots of features and engine management computers and it would have evolved into quite a project and costs. I live near Sonu who's converted an Audi 1.8 turbo in his 914 using the stock instrument panel and ECU. He was able to make it work w/o too much problems. Once I'm ready to wire it, I'll contact you with any problems. Believe me, I'm counting on help. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) I have another friend who is German automotive tech with diag equip and I also live near Jason who is converting to Boxster drivetrain. He bought the stock instrument panel and will have similar challenges. Bob, That's nice! I was looking at some smaller fpd's used in some Ultima race cars. I'd like to almost eliminate a dash pod... |
