Found this on the TWM throttle body website....
not only is it for the linkage, it also doubles up as a common manifold for MAP readings for fuel injection.... Attached image(s) |

Or increase the diameter of the wheel and locate the two linkage arms at the sides as opposed to the top and bottom as shown so that movement will be at near right angles or tangent to the wheel. The same problem occurs with the typical cross bar linkage and the solution or compromise is the same. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif)
