Does any one have a list (started or complete) of parts on the 914 that are found on VW’s? I know that there are tons of parts, but I was curious if any one has put on together.

i made a data base in clarisworks on an apple LC (yes, it's that long ago), of part numbers, nomenclature, figure reference, price and vendor. basically, the biggest clue is the part number: 022.xxx.xxx is 1.7, 021.xxx.xxx is 1.8, 039.xxx.xxx is 2.0L. 901.xxx.xx is shared with 911. 914.xxx.xx is pretty specific to 914. restate and emphasize the word: "basically"
some bosch/electrical parts have 2 numbers: 0.280.100.043 also has a 039.xxx.xxx number (this is for example only) data base has about 1700 entries in it (duplicates, same part from multiple vendors, nuts & bolts & washers, hoses...) searching for a conversion to appleworks to be able to convert to PC format. i have DB on 3.5" floppy |
