Grant, your car, running hoosiers will greatly benefit from the extra stiffening. The more stick that a car has, the more flex it recieves...
I'd say reinforcements, and a cage will be fine for you... You can always cut out 18# of sheet metal somewhere else! I will be installing these in my car sometime this year. |
