I tried putting on a lug while the tire was already on the car and the other lugs were tightened and the lug got cross threaded - %$#@!! Is there any way to repair these other than go buy the tap and use it once? I tried to insert a lug several times and I could feel that it was not going in right - Any Ideas??

I've made a tap out of a bolt before.. Take a spare lug bolt, and taper the end a little. Then take a cutoff wheel on a dremel and cut some slots down the length of the bolt. You now have a tap! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)
