Need some advice. I need to replace (one) cylinder/piston set, but thought that it would be a good time to replace the entire set with an upgraded 96mm bore set. What do you think?
There are some sources out there for sets, both well known and some not too well known. Anyone have any experiences good or bad? (1975 914/2.0 with external oil cooler) Thanks! |

Here they are in order of higher quality/cost first, lowest quality/cost last:
1. German cylinders bored to 96 with JE pistons. 2. German cylinders bored to 96 with Keith Black pistons. 3. Chinese pistons and cylinders. There are other combos as well, but those are the biggies. |
