Could someone point me in the direction of what to do to set up the lingage for the shifter correctly on a 901 sideshifter.

I have done 911 / 915's before but can not seem to get his one.

I put in Welt, short shift kit and and I know prior to buying the car the shop had installed new clutch. The problem has plegged me since.

I shift coupling just under shifter over and I get R and 1, but no 4/5, then I get 4/5 but no 1st/R.

Is there an adjustment at the second lingage tube, or at the trans coupling?

If you just cannot adjust the shifter so you get all six gears, you should pull the carpeting over the center tunnel and look in there with a flashlight and a mirror or two. Check to see if the clutch cable tube is moving when you push the pedal; if so it has broken loose from the inside of the tunnel and can interfere with the movement of the bottom of the gear shift lever.
