Could someone point me in the direction of what to do to set up the lingage for the shifter correctly on a 901 sideshifter.
I have done 911 / 915's before but can not seem to get his one. I put in Welt, short shift kit and and I know prior to buying the car the shop had installed new clutch. The problem has plegged me since. I shift coupling just under shifter over and I get R and 1, but no 4/5, then I get 4/5 but no 1st/R. If you just cannot adjust the shifter so you get all six gears, you should pull the carpeting over the center tunnel and look in there with a flashlight and a mirror or two. Check to see if the clutch cable tube is moving when you push the pedal; if so it has broken loose from the inside of the tunnel and can interfere with the movement of the bottom of the gear shift lever.
