Just put them on today and took a cruise. These are last year's so if new ones are even better, get some.
Really is a race tire for the street. Not quite as sticky as the Proxes (40 treadwear) track tires I had, but a lot smoother. Buzzy at Hiway speeds, but just the ticket for canyon carving, and 205/50's really suit the gearing of my stock 2.0 FI. 2nd gear starts and Mulholland becomes a a 2 gear road, 3rd and 4th. I may even pay Lagunero for them (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

In the latest Grassroots Motorsports Tire Shootout in the non-race rubber with DOT approval class the Falken Azenis new model took top honors, the older model 215 I think was almost as good but suffers from heat when pushed. This is the reason I guess behind the tire misting going on at the AX grid. The newer ones were better but still suffer when hot.
I have a set of the older ones on my 240Z... Rob |
