Just put them on today and took a cruise. These are last year's so if new ones are even better, get some.
Really is a race tire for the street. Not quite as sticky as the Proxes (40 treadwear) track tires I had, but a lot smoother. Buzzy at Hiway speeds, but just the ticket for canyon carving, and 205/50's really suit the gearing of my stock 2.0 FI. 2nd gear starts and Mulholland becomes a a 2 gear road, 3rd and 4th. Love RA-1's. But they are track tires, almost slicks, and just about useless near any water. Had to take them off last winter with all the rain here. Wet spots in the canyons until this month. But the Falkens are street tires pretty good at imitaing the Proxes. |
