Anybody (probably everybody) know what the average cost is to take a car and put it on a dyno. And what exactly can be told about the car other than hp figures?

Depending on what test equipment you have hooked up, anything you can imagine.. well.. depends on the type of dyno.

Mostly, you dial in your settings, you map things out across the throttle range, or troubleshoot a problem under load.
