I drove Skline's car home, the big 1300 mile trip in a 914-4 2.0 FI........And that was enough for me. I pushed the car into the garage and sold the engine, FI, Tires, wheels and a few other 4cyl related items. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Here is a couple of shots of the progress of Scott's old car. There has been a lot done to it you will not see. I just snapped some shots last night to give a quick update on this project. So please excuse the mess around the car. I have also been working on A LOT of customer cars lately. I took these just this morning before I left for work. This 914 was a good collection of parts from 914club members. Oh, I F'd up, the front euro kit was Martin Baker, not a CAMP kit, but here is the list:
Front euro lights - Martin Baker BulkHead Mount - maddog (I like his the best) Carpet kit - CAMP Rear trunk shock kit - CAMP Dashes - Evil one Pilot light kit - CAMP Sail panel vinyl(Not installed) - CAMP 914-6 bell crank - Root Werks Oil tank - GPR So thanks to everyone on that list who make great parts for 914's! We rule! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) If I missed anyone, I appologize. So this one will be heading down to CAMP hopefully next week. Kevin, I'll PM you to set it up. About the only things left to do are install the breather lines and air filter. Craig will be putting the interior together. Oh, the turn signals don't work. Flashers do, but signals don't. Wierd, gotta get that one sorted as well. Fun car, VERY quick and VERY tight. If I remember correctly, Scott did well at WCC05 in AX with this car. It is certainly set up well! Attached image(s)
