Went to Tire Rack today and got the Kumho V710's mounted on my new (too me) Keizer rims. Went the with the 205 50 15 non heat cycled. Of course when I got home I had to put them on the car. I using 1/8" spacer on the rears and 1/4"on the front looks like I need to adjust my ride height a little. Front is setting 24 inches from floor to top of wheel arch, rears are at 22.

Did we mention this was going to be fun? So what kind of camber are you running?
I have a touch over 2 degrees in back tire temp was 132 inside 130 middle and 129 outside and I was REALLY driving hard on fast sweeper AX course. I am going to add a thin shim and that should be about it. Front is a touch less than 2 degrees tire temp was the complete opposite 129 inside 130 middle 133 outside. Got Welt camber plates and they are all in. Got to figure out how I want to get more front camber. Probably (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) and (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif) Anyway you can get more clearance with more negative camber. and them big fatty tires won't like less than "LOTS of CAMBER" !!!! |
