Another of my own dumb ideas:
A copy of the firewall in CF or FG from either side (engine compartment or passenger compartment) to sandwich against the metal with a layer of insulation to help with sound deadening. Then again, the fact that the top layer would be a hard surface might mitigate any benefits from the insulation layer (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif) Just trying to think of a way to reduce noise for those who think taking out the sound pad makes the cars too loud. |
