This looks like more fun than tossing the sausage. It also can be done on a 914 budget and you have a new car. The body and chassis kits work out to $4000. +or- USD. Not including shipping. Check the website, a more frugal Arial Atom.

I recently emailed them for info here is the reply:
Hi, Many thanks for your enquiry. We do ship to the States and the pricelist includes a £200 premium for a LHD version. We pack the kit ready for shipping (for a charge) and then you arrange shipping from our factory and handle all customs issues within your own country. As you are outside the EU you will be able to claim back the VAT which is 17.5%. Hence just divide the prices on the website by 1.175 to find out what you'll pay once the VAT has been refunded.
