Who has installed a wing on their 914 and how did you do it? Can the uprights be mounted outboard of the trunk lid? Any experience with the wings offered by GT Racing? I am talking about a functional wing 72" wide, not a cosmetic one. I would like to access my trunk where the battery and my ignition modules live without disassembling the wing to get there (the trunk lid is a lift-off FG and not hinged). TIA.

just exactly how fast do you plan to run your 914?
A wing won't do squat until over around 70 mph IMO and then only in corners, if you don't plan to take corners above 70 mph a wing will make you vulnerable to being labeled a poser or ricer (same thing). |
