> 2.7 - 6 scavenge oil line fitting

The 2.7 in the teener needs a new scavenge pump oil line fitting. The original fitting screws into the case and has a male 30mm fitting. When the car was converted to a 2.7 six, an AN12 male fitting was welded to the original 30mm fitting. This made the fitting a bit long and I'm having difficulty getting adequate clearance for the oil line going from the engine scavenge pump to the oil tank. I've tried straight fittings and 45 degree fittings and the oil line comes too close to the headers. A 90 degree fitting can be installed but only prior to installing the header.

I'm looking to find a fitting that screws into the case and has an AN12 male fitting. What are good sources.

What size is the scavenge pump output?

Thanks

Eddie

Here is what Jeff (sixnotfour) is talking about. He did this for the 2.7 he built for me. When I first installed it was in line with the shift rod so I had to pull it down a bit. Would have preferred to go above the rod but the bulkhead mount I have would not allow it. I think it is the way to go.
