All aluminum, good power and reliable....pretty cheap as well since about the only market for them is for replacements or sandrails.
A few sites with some good reading about them: C and G Performance and Funco sandrails I know Kennedy Engineering makes an adapter plate and flywheel for it as well and unlike most Honda 4 bangers, they turn the correct direction (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) (IMG:http://www.cgperformance.com/images/CG%20honda%20engine%20WP.jpg) |

aint so much the weight moving tot he front, i just do not like the idea of cutting up the the trunk and inner fenders. Maybe a pair of small radiators mounted on the engien lid, with a grill on the entire engine lid (rather than half) have fans mounted. Here is the problem, at speed, I assume the air flow is naturally up from under the engine bay and out the engine lid (unlike the with aircooled engine, the engine bay will not be sealed ) so the fans should blow out. However, if you are stuck in slow traffic, would it be wise to cool the radiator with air sucked past the hot engine and headers? In that case I think the fans should blow down on the engine from the lid. This will give the radiators the cold air from above.
I think if the fans ran this way (top to bottom flow) that at speed,t eh fans will be counter productive, becuase of the assumption that the air would without the fans be going bottom to out the top. If this is the case, then the fan should be reversable, and change directions when the car is moving at some preselected speed (or trip it with an air flow vane switch. Anyway whats is your all opinion on direction of air flow at speed for a water cooled car, will the air be high pressure under the car, and be sucked out the engine bay by the vacuum created by the rear window? i assume also if we get the fan velocity high enough, then maybe running the fans from bottom up even while car is not moving may not be so bad, just need to minimize the amount of pre-heated air to the radiator.
