All aluminum, good power and reliable....pretty cheap as well since about the only market for them is for replacements or sandrails.
A few sites with some good reading about them: C and G Performance and Funco sandrails I know Kennedy Engineering makes an adapter plate and flywheel for it as well and unlike most Honda 4 bangers, they turn the correct direction (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) (IMG:http://www.cgperformance.com/images/CG%20honda%20engine%20WP.jpg) |

Brett,
I spoke to my Honda friends the last couple of days about this thread. One of the fellows that is a renown tuner with the Hondata system is using it on the V6. I asked if I could give you his contact information... he said no problem. He thought it might be interesting to chat with you. I don't have it with me at the moment. I will PM you with it on Monday or Tuesday when I get back in the office. One of the reasons this fellow (Jerry at jerrybuilt racing) is proficient at this is because he hangs out with a couple of guys that wrote some of the scripting for Hondata and AEM. And the AEM dyno shop and many other ricer based dyno shops are in our area. Kinda seems to be a hub of ricer data and technology in our neck of the woods...... If there anything I can do get you or anyone on this forum hooked up with the Kali contingent for J spec goods... I am willing to give it a try... Regards, Twystd1 |
