"Are you guys serious about not renewing Top Gear? Educational television has taken a huge plunge over the last few years with the focus shifting to the likes of monster garage and the death of things like shark week. Yes, shark week pretty much stinks now. I used to look forward to it all year. Anyway, Top Gear is a truly a fun and informative show that appeals to real car guys and wanna be’s alike. It is the first car show I’ve been able to get my wife to watch with me. I don’t know where you are getting your information, but you are clearly listening to the wrong people. Next thing you know Mythbusters will be canceled because it has too much scientific theory mixed in with the occasional violent explosion. Advertisers and demographics are the worst place you could look if quality television is your goal. Most television is dumbed down to the point of insulting intelligent society; why not aspire to bring the masses up a notch instead of dragging the rest of us down."
