The cars are carved by hand as scale is not the issue. A mold is made and an epoxy is used to create the unit that will go onto the vacuum base. Holes are place in the buck so that the lexan will get sucked down when heated up. The molds cost about $500.00 each to create once the carving is done. The mold could be CNCed, do we know someone that can do that? It has to smooth as glass to obtain the finish needed.
