Would it be possible to rewire the fresh air fan speeds to just a simple 3 way switch ?

The slider switch does work, but it's kinda gummy and hard to push over while driving. Same thing with the other two. They're real hard to push and don't go fully to either side. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)
