A 1½" ABS plumbing 90° zip tied to the front suspension and aimed at the brakes.
I'll try it this weekend on the track. It won't hurt, remember that. rip away (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ar15.gif) KT Attached image(s)

I've seen a few. If you ever see Chuck Forge at the track, take a look at his. Well, you can't really see any of the brakes for all the cooling ducting, but.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) A very simple method was proposed to me a long while ago. Take a beer can, cut one end out of it. Cut a slice into the side that is big enough for the rotor to fit into. Hook up your dryer hose to the open end of the can. Now the important part: Build a small diverter into the can that dumps about half of the air onto the far side of the can from the open end! Just how you do that is "an exercise for the student". (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) There you have it, one cheap and not-that-difficult brake duct for a solid rotor. --DD |
