A 1½" ABS plumbing 90° zip tied to the front suspension and aimed at the brakes.

I'll try it this weekend on the track.

It won't hurt, remember that.

Perhaps I should have wrote misting instead of squirting. A fine "mist" would really work well.

This does cause the rotors to have extreem heat cycling, but on a race car where such components are swapped out regularly, this method is tried and proven. It simply works very very well.


As far as cooling both sides of the rotor, Dave describes a very cheap yet effective method. Another way to cool both sides would be to use a vented rotor and blow air into the center so that air passes through the vents. This cools both sides of the rotor.
